A button to dump all the current settings to clipboard/txt file, preferably to clipboard. Some of the Bernerts gpu plugins have that option, and it's very handy.

Although if you're going to have it dump settings to the clipboard, I'd suggest also having it dump the disc ID. Makes compatibility reports that much faster.

Indeed, I'd actually been thinking of something like that too. Other information like DirectX version and how the game was loaded (CD, image, etc) might be useful as well.

I was thinking that maybe pSX could be programmed to wait a half of a second (or some other amount of delay) before proceeding to the next button input in the controller configuration dialog thus preventing the buttons to be automatically assigned since it would block the input from rapidly repeating through multiple assignations.

Ah.. did you ever read ANY of the posts the admins have mentioned?
* This is NOT the place for compatibility comments or requests, firstly.
* Secondly, Pixel Shader support is NOT likely-- he is trying for as close as possible emulation, meaning software rendering. Since PSX video doesn't map 1:1 to OpenGL/Direct3D/you name it, there's no way to do a *perfect* emulation (quirks and all) with 3D acceleration. Use ePSXe if you want that. (Einhander works REALLY nicely with 3D acceleration and resolution increasing!)
* Audio is already supported, and works pretty well as it is.. it's not perfect, but it's getting there.
* I have NO idea WHAT you mean by "Video presentation". If you mean FMV, a lot of that already works fine.
PLEASE read the rules and comments of the author before posting, people-- it's been said TIME AND TIME AGAIN that certain things are not going to change, and the compatibility thing has been hammered home just as often.

I know this, but the ini is behind so many clicks (for me anyway), that's why I said that directly to clipboard would be better, plus, as some people added, disc id etc etc would be cool to have in the dump as well. If I, for example, use cdz, I have to uncompress it and mount it to find the disc id. It's a pain in the ass, in my opinion. Clipboard dump with most of the relevant info would make compatibility reports so much easier to do.

Voodoo? As in the old 3DFX?
I'm going to tell you up-front: No. It's not going to work. Period.
There's NO Direct3D 9-compliant driver for your video card. In fact, I doubt there's DirectX compliance for anything above DX6. Also, I believe pSX renders the display as a single texture (correct me if I'm wrong) which is a texture size that Voodoo card can't handle. As a result, your videocard will never be able to run pSX correctly, and there's no way to fix that. Sorry. Blame nVidia for dropping support for all 3DFX cards immediately after purchasing the company, and blame 3DFX for dropping the ball badly on their last three generations of cards.

When changing to full screen mode for the first time since you launched psx, for the brightness and what not settings to activate. But now all you have to do is press 8 then 2 on number pad to get the settings to work.

About Herra's request... It would be a lot easier to see what settings are used/changed when copying only changes from default, rather than copying and replacing an entire .ini and trying to figure out what settings are out of the ordinary. Not a big deal, though. Firehawke: I wouldn't be too quick about saying there's no DX9-compatible drivers for Voodoo cards... a quick googling came up with SFFT drivers and AmigaMerlin drivers for 3DFX cards that are still relatively up-to-date, and do support DX9 as far as I can tell.

For the config in the clipboard, it would be nice to have a compatibility form in the clipboard with the informations, so that anything that is usefull in a compatibility report would be there.
