Just a minor suggestion here.
I'd like to see a toggle for fast forward rather than just holding down the "backspace" key. And perhaps adding a multiplier for fast forward so you can fast forward more than at the current default rate.
This could be useful for getting past those long cutscenes or speeding up the loading of new levels.

When you press the fast forward key pSX executes as fast as your computer can manage... so there is no easy way to make it faster then the current rate. I suppose I could make it skip frames, but that may cause problems in some games (since they might be doing frame buffer effects, or even copying stuff back to main memory from vram that the game code relies on) - it would have to be optional.

What about adding way later on gun emulation using a mouse for games like the Point Blank series and so on

Some suggestions: - in some games (Final Fantasy IX, Valkyrie Profile, ...), the lower part of the screen is all black so maybe an option to strecth the screen to fill it would be good; - a shortcut (in main menu, perhaps) to choose the memory cards. For people like me that likes making one card for each game, it would help in changing them; - in Koudelka (and maybe in other games) the controller is not perfectly emulated: the game have a "one click and stop" style (where even if you hold the button it will not change the option selected) but the emulator uses the repeated pressing, making it almost impossible to choose an option (since it goes way too fast as if using a turbo button); - as already said before, a in game button shortcut to change between controller types would be perfect; - even using quoting marks to limit the memory card's path in command line, if it has any space in it, it will load a wrong card; - Hikaru no Go (and another one game I don't remember now) freezes at Konami logo (not tested after 1.7).
Thank you for the awesome emulator and I hope my suggestions help in some way.

The game worked perfect for me.

About Koudelka controller: tested it and noticed that it only occurs while using "DualShock" option. Using "Analog+Rumble" or "Normal Pad" the problem won't happen. Maybe it's a game problem itself? To see what the problem is, use "DualShock" and enter "Config" in main menu.

Well, I could test it on the real console to see if this happens. I'll report it here soon.

I have a small request... an option to set the cdrom as the default location and an autodetect so when a psx cd is inserted and the Psx program running it will pick up the cd and start it (From bios mode of course)...

- Option to disable picture stretch.
- Auto resolution switching.

- Option to disable picture stretch. pSX never stretches the image... I'm not sure what you mean - the aspect ratio should always be correct. - Auto resolution switching. This isn't really possible: the ps1 supports all combinations of 256,320,384,512 and 640 for width, 240 and 480 for height (256 and 512 for PAL). PC video cards just do not support modes like 512x240 which is very very common in ps1 games.

i still think being able to save to a real psx memory card via dexdrive or similar would kick major butt! ;D

I don't like the word 'request' - here's a suggestion:
How about an option to read the subcode seperately and store it on the harddrive? This will help people who have optical drives that read the subcode slowly.

Hey, I second that. Nice sugestion. Anyway, now for my sugestion: it would be nice if for every major change made (like the subchannel support), you could add an option to disable it. For example, why have subchannel support enabled when I don't need it?? It would help to play games that might have been broken because of it.

Subchannel support can be disabled in the CDROM tab.
