It would be nice to have MDF/MDS support (Alcohol 120% images).

Is there any chance, pSX Author, of including a switch to select the BIOS to be used, in the next version?

These things i want to see in newer release !
Compatibility Games (Crash Bandicoot Series) !
NET play (will be very nice) p.s. in kaillera servers if It's possible .
And compatibility at all ... most important thing to have many compatible games !
Will be nice to have more video options ... like openGL enchant or something similar ... something for better rendering !
And btw the sound of Bloody roar 2 work good ... no have sound issue when frame skiping is turned off !

OpenGL enchant...? Do you mean enhancement? Whatever renderer pSX Author decides to use, it won't enhance graphics. All it'll do is draw the graphics to the screen anyway, so there won't be any enhancements whatsoever.

I would suggest a thread in which there is all the feature that won't appear in PSX...
Like better display and other things.
That would maybe remove all those request that are useless.

But what you tell about NET play feauture ? And most important thing ... compatibility with many games ... emulator is good now just need to run more games and all will be great !

Netplay (with Kaillera) is bad even with older 2D games. I couldn't imagine trying to use it with a PlayStation game. ZeXr0: That is actually a good idea. I'll wait and see what the other admins think before making that thread.

"I have a small request... an option to set the cdrom as the default location and an autodetect so when a psx cd is inserted and the Psx program running it will pick up the cd and start it (From bios mode of course)..." I would like to second this request.

ZeXr0/TheCloudOfSmoke: Yeah I was thinking about something like that while I was revising the FAQ... mostly because there are a lot of features mentioned in the FAQ that were said to likely not be coming (plugin support, graphics enhancement, XBOX, etc). So TheCloudOfSmoke, if you want to get started on it, go right ahead

I would like to second this request. I would like to third it! also, it would be cool to set the drive that gets checked when "insert CD drive" is selected on the menu. i don't put games in my D: drive, so everytime i click "insert CD drive", it gives me a "please insert a disc into drive d:" error first.

I'd like to suggest something that would potentially prevent people from asking "simple" (I'll use this more... formal word here) questions and us (the whole board) from answering them. Would it be possible (if it's worth, of course) to bring the "Configuration" section under the "File" tab outside, straight to the menu bar, pSX Author? That way you could have (as of now) 8 different sections under one "Configuration" tab - "Paths", "BIOS", etc. Some of these sections ("Graphics", for example) would have that drop-down feature, which would only bring the "quick-setting" options (on the "Graphics" example, "Bilinear interpolation", "Frame skipping", etc. could go there); then you could set an option like "More settings..." or similar that would lead to rest of the options of that section (on the "Graphics" example, "Brightness", "Gamma", etc. could go there). Anyway, my main reason for bringing this up is that an option like
"Fullscreen -----> Alt + Enter"
could finally be implemented on the GUI, thus improving the emulator usage (not that it is in any way hard to use - in fact, it's pretty much the opposite. Let's just say it would clarify things a little bit - at least for the newbies). I know that it's easy for us to say things here - besides, who'd actually end up doing whatever we suggest here would be you, pSX Author; being so, I'd like to know if that's possible and, more important, if that's in any way useful, as I stated before.

I request that also. Instead of Configuration, it could be named Settings or Options if pSX Author decides to implement this (Configuration is too long). It would also make pSX slightly quicker to configure.

Sure, I just used "Configuration" because it's the default name as of now... A shorter name would be better, indeed...

Suggestion!
I see that you are allowing Bilinear interpolation in Graphics Configuration, perhaps you could add optional Bicubic Interpolation as well, sometimes it looks better than Bilinear!!!
or S-Spline would be great!!!
