I think it was Iala Cave that started me drawing maps - I once spent a whole night and into the next morning there trying to find the way out - levelling up and getting rich like nobody's business - but, of course, you can't save in that dungeon and I eventually had to give up and switch off. Not even the internet then for help! Yes, it's a game that's always worth going back to. Despite its simplicity compared with modern games, it still wasn't that easy! And, although they were bigger and more complex (with multiple endings, even!), none of the sequels ever seemed to measure up...

There was this other game that I can't quite recall the name of (Dragon Crystal?), but it had this guy walking around and he had a big egg following him on every step. Eventually the egg hatched and turned out to be dragon. Never beat that one either. Yes, it's Dragon Crystal. A great simple game in my opinion, although I'm not a fan of RPG. I've finished it last December within some good hours, playing on the real console; gotta play it again anytime soon.

Hmm... I don't remember the original thread we discussed this in (might even be this one, but I'm not searching through this whole thread to see, and will instead just mention it here), but... isn't it about time another member clean-out be done? We're getting close to 1,300 members, and I wouldn't imagine that there are that many active members around here... XD
Just thought I'd mention it. I wouldn't have really noticed, except that the amount of members passed my number of posts, which is always odd to see... LOL.

Yeah, I somewhat suggested that some time ago on the original Member Pruning thread but eventually got ignored...

Ahh... thanks for the reference. Now I'll remember. I guess... maybe they're busy with their lives and such, as I'm sure it's not a quick process. Or maybe they just never noticed... LOL.

I think Ultima's pruning motivation was to prevent the forum becoming a 1Km one on inactive members. Doubt if he'll show much more interest 'till the forum starts approaching another landmark membership total.

Melanogaster: It wasn't so much ignored as it was forgotten about; I must have opened the thread when you posted, as I recall reading it, but somehow closed my browser before remembering to get the pruning done. My MIA-ness didn't help either.
