This is merely a fresh thread created from a prior thread, which bears links to all the relevant information we've been given about the v1.14 release. As pSX Author has recently stated, v1.14 isn't *too* far off, but he's been very busy with real life, so it's unknown for the most part when it's going to be released.
There are to be no questions in this thread, as its only purpose is to provide what's here in this post. No posts to "add" any information, no comments about anything... nothing. If any more information comes up between now and release day, I (or one of the admins) will see it and add it here ourselves.
Original thread:
Of course, we still know nothing about compatibility in v1.14 (whether anything has been fixed or not), but considering pSX Author said at least a year ago that v1.14 was focused mainly on PS2 emulation, it's anybody's guess by this point.
Edit: And now at least we have indication that pSX Author is still alive and kicking, and possibly still working on pSX, as evidenced by this conversation between him and Truth Unknown. It may not be much, but it at least gives us an update on the fact that it's not dead yet

Original thread:
If and when pSX is updated with PS2 support, does anyone here have any insight into the sort of system requirements there are likely to be? I can't afford a machine to run PCSX2 decently, and I'm hoping pSX PS2 support will be a relief of that burden.
Hard to say, but read this (or the whole thread if you want to see a few other tidbits), this (not PS2-related, but an example of v1.14's initial recording capability), this whole thread, and this thread (from the linked post onward). That all being information given directly from pSX Author, hopefully that should answer your question (as well as any other legitimate questions that you or others have about v1.14).
