Nintendo: NES: trying JNES ATM SNES: ZSNES (used SNES9x for some time, but on balance ZSNES seems to work a little better, despite the GUI!) N64: Project 64 of course
Sony: Playstation: we all know that - pSX
Sega: SMS: MEKA Genesis/Megadrive: GENS
And that's about all I'm emulating ATM. Keep meaning to try a Saturn emu, but havn't got round to it yet - will have to get some games.

This is what I have now. Not sure if they are all my favourites, but hey.
For SNES, it's ZSNES, mostly because it has a better compatibility on some games. The GUI doesn't bother me because I play fullscreen most of the time anyway. Oh, and online play of course. I seem to recall that Snes9x has online play too, but I also seem to remember that it didn't work so great last I tried it.
For N64, Project64 is the way to go. I like it's compatibility database very much.
For Playstation, pSX, because I have fiddled with the plugins enough on epsxe to go crazy 3 times over. Plus of course, pSX is actually on developement.
For GBA, Visualboy Advance. It's the bets, right? I haven't really emulated GBA all that much though, so I could be wrong.
For NES, currently Nestopia. Again I throw in the "actually still on developement" card. It's good. I used to use FCEUltra for the longest time, but with the latest fresh install I thought I'd give the newest Nestopia a shot.
But all in all, I don't actually have much time to emulate anything these days, so they just sit there. And the rest, Sega consoles and stuff, I don't really know. Havent really payed too much attention to them.

I was always a Nintendo kid back in the Master System days, as were pretty much all my friends. One of them had Master System with Phantasy Star and couple other games.
And these days, there just ins't any time anymore. Tons of games, too little time.

The original Phantasy Star was a great game. Never really like any of the sequels that much...
Edit: funny, really. On Master System v. Nintendo Entertainment System, my favourite games are all on Sega. But with Megadrive/Genesis v. Super Nintendo, it's definitely the other way round.

I like FakeNES because of how many features it has. Simply insane. It plays all my games very well too, including Fire Emblem.
Yeah, VisualBoyAdvance is the best. I've tried the others... a waste of time is what they are. Same with any N64 emulator besides Project64 at this point. Yeah, a couple others work pretty well, but Project64 beats them all like nothing.
Sega Saturn emulators are so... funky. Satourne is the only one I've found that actually uses readable menus and plays games well. Makes me miss my old Saturn just a little bit less... lol.

Well, maybe you shouldn't have Saturn it, GM!

Lets see:
Master System = Dega (just because it enhances the sound of the games. Phantasy Star really sounds great with it.)
Nes = FCEUltra (very compatible, has hq2x filter and its fast as hell)
Mega drive A.K.A Genesis = Gens+ (tweaked version of Gens. Has a nice compatibility, its fast, plays most Sega CD games - I have some Sega CD originals sitting here- and its easy to use.
Snes = Snes9x (I think it has some better things than Zsnes, its fast and for me its less buggy than Zsnes)
Playstation = pSX (its like VGS, but on steroids: easy to use, fast, very compatible, AND DON'T NEED PLUGINS!!)
Saturn = SSF (its the most compatible one, and I was able to play Shining Force 3 at full speed with it)
GBA = Visual Boy Advance CE (the CE version is the fastest one and it has a better timing)
Neogeo = Neorage X (Its fast and easy to use. Also, there are lots of hacked versions out there, making it much more compatible)
Anyway, I don't really emulate other systems. They don't interest me. Also, my PC isn't good enough for PS2 emulation, so I don't even try it.

I was typing a nice post here, and then I thought "Hey, since I use both Satourne *and* SSF depending on how I feel, I'll go try SSF again to figure out why I like Satourne better"... but after trying to load state 0 (where my Shining Force 3 save is)... I got the blue screen of death again. This has never happened before with SSF, and I'm using the same Alpha 8 version I've been using since it was released. "ati3duag.dll - Address BFADFAC3 base at BFA92000" was the message this time, as opposed to the BRGsp50.sys message of the same nature with Fusion and plugins. I know that's a driver file for my graphics card... damn. This is not fair. The damn card worked perfectly fine on my other computer while running the same OS (WinXP Pro). Meh...
I always loved FCEUltra... I had been a faithful user of it since back in the days when it was only DOS... very good emulator. The only reason I switched to FakeNES is because of all the extra enhancements to graphics and sound that it offers, without losing any compatibility with the games I have.
VBA CE... I'll have to try that. I'm sure I've seen it, but I think the description led me to believe that it wasn't any better than the latest version. Should've just tested it for myself anyway... but now I will.

NES: A mix of JNes and virtuanes (for those Koei games that JNes can't run). SNES: SNES9x... yeah, hate the zsnes gui. Genesis: Gens... I need to look at updates for that program from the version I currently use. GBA: VisualBoy Advance
I used to have one of the better MAME emus out there, but it's been so long since I had, I can't even remember what it was called at the time.
